Black Friday & Cyber Monday Leather Wallet Deals 2026

What actually goes on sale in this category, what rarely does, and which wallets are worth waiting for — built from last November's documented sales, not guesses. Deals will be posted here, with the date we verified each one, as they go live.

By Stephen V.Updated How we research
#ad

We earn a commission when you buy through our Amazon links, at no extra cost to you. It never affects our picks, and we say so when the cheaper wallet is the better buy. How this works.

Black Friday 2026 falls on November 27 and Cyber Monday on November 30. In 2025 Amazon opened its Black Friday Week on November 20 at 12:01 am Pacific and ran deals through Cyber Monday on December 1 — a twelve-day window rather than a single day — and every wallet brand we track ran its own sale on its own site in roughly the same stretch. This page exists because an "up to" banner tells you nothing about whether the wallet you want will be one of them. Below is what each brand and product class in this category actually did last November, cited by source and year; what that means for buying now versus waiting; and our current top picks with their live prices, so you have a benchmark to judge a November number against.

Deals board · status

No 2026 Black Friday deals are live yet. When they go live in November we will post them here — each with the price we verified, the date we verified it, and the brand's own stated discount, never a figure we could not see ourselves. Until then, the prices shown on this page are today's live Amazon prices, stamped with the date we checked them.

One honest caveat before the history. Which?, the UK consumer body, tracked 175 products across eight retailers including Amazon for the full year around Black Friday 2024 and found that 83% were the same price or cheaper at some point outside the four-week sale window — 88% at Amazon. That study covered appliances and tech, not wallets, and it is British; we cite it not as a wallet finding but as the reason every deal we post here will carry the pre-sale price we had on record. A discount is only a discount against a real number.

What historically discounts in this category

These are last November's documented sales, from the sources listed at the foot of the page. They describe 2025. They are not a promise about 2026, and we have not adjusted or rounded them.

Metal and tech wallets — the deepest, most reliable discounts

Ridge ran "up to 47% off sitewide" on its own site for Black Friday 2025 (HiConsumption, November 27, 2025), and Outdoor Life documented individual Ridge listings on Amazon at between 16% and 34% off on November 28, 2025 — so the discount reached the marketplace, not just the brand's store. Ekster called its 2025 sale its "biggest sale ever" at "up to 54%" sitewide, with its classic wallets at "30% to 54% off" depending on variant (Ekster's own journal). Both brands have a published pattern of running holiday promotions, and both are the reason we say "wait" for this class below.

Design-led leather brands — real, but modest

Bellroy's 2025 Black Friday offer was 25% off sitewide with a $75 minimum spend (HiConsumption, November 27, 2025); a retailer guide to Bellroy's promotions puts its normal range at 10% to 20% during major shopping holidays and end of season. That is a genuine sale, and it is also the ceiling: Bellroy does not do the 50%-off headlines. Nomad advertised "up to 75% off" across its 2025 sale, but the leather wallets we could find documented were at 20% off — the passport wallet — with the deep cuts elsewhere in the range (9to5Toys, November 26, 2025). The pattern for this class: a real discount on the wallet you want, in the 20–25% band, if you buy direct during the window.

Mainstream fashion brands — select styles, direct

Fossil ran 25% off "qualifying full-priced items only" on Fossil.com and in its own stores from November 19 through December 2, 2025 — explicitly not sitewide, and explicitly not everything (BlackerFriday, Fossil 2025 ad). Whether a given Fossil wallet on Amazon matched that price is a separate question we could not document, which is why our Fossil picks carry a live Amazon price for you to compare against. Carhartt ran up to 40% off on its own site from November 17 to December 7, 2025, and Amazon ran an early Black Friday Carhartt event at "up to 44% off" on November 21, 2025 — but every item in the coverage we found was apparel. For Carhartt wallets and leather goods specifically: data unavailable. We found no published record of the wallet discounting either way.

Small American makers — early access, no published numbers

Main Street Forge runs a Black Friday / Cyber Monday early-access list and its sign-up page warns that "there is a very high chance we may run out of stock of multiple items this holiday season" — but it publishes no discount percentage in advance. For the other US workshops we rank — American Bench Craft, Rogue Industries, Craft & Lore, Gemini — we found no published Black Friday history at all: data unavailable. Treat this class as one where the constraint is stock and lead time, not price.

Budget Amazon-native wallets — data unavailable, and little room to move

Travelambo, Buffway, kinzd, Fintie, RUNBOX and the rest of the under-$30 tier have no published sale calendar we could find, so we will not invent one. Two things we can say from our own price data: several of these listings already show a strike-through "list price" and a percentage-off badge at our September price check, months before any sale, which means a November badge showing the same number is not a new discount; and at these prices the most a real cut could save you is a few dollars.

Buy now or wait for November — by product class

  • Ridge, Ekster and other metal or pop-up wallets: wait, if you can. Both brands documented deep 2025 discounts on their own sites and, for Ridge, on Amazon. This is the one class where the November number was materially better than the rest of the year. Our Ridge alternatives and pop-up cardholder pages rank the options.
  • Bellroy and Nomad: buy when you need it, or wait for a modest cut. The documented 2025 saving on the wallet itself was in the 20–25% band, bought direct, with a minimum spend at Bellroy. Worth waiting for if you are already inside November; not worth delaying a gift you need in October. Our Bellroy review and Nomad review cover which model to buy.
  • Fossil and other mainstream brands: check the live price, then decide. The 2025 offer was 25% on select full-price styles, direct. Compare it against the Amazon price on our Fossil review on the day — the marketplace price is sometimes already below the brand's sale price, and sometimes not.
  • Small US makers: buy now. No published discount history, an explicit stock-out warning from one of them, and made-to-order lead times on another. If the gift is a made-in-USA wallet, the risk of waiting is not paying more — it is not getting it.
  • Budget Amazon wallets under $30: buy now. No documented sale history, list prices that are already struck through in September, and a maximum real saving of a few dollars. Our budget wallets guide is the list.
  • Leather conditioner and small goods: buy now. Low ticket, no history worth waiting for, and a stocking stuffer you want in hand early. See our stocking stuffers.

How to tell a wallet deal is real

Three checks, none of which need a coupon site. First, compare the November price against a pre-sale price you trust — every pick below shows today's live Amazon price with the date we checked it, and that is the number we will quote against when we post deals. Second, ignore the strike-through "list price" on a budget listing; if it was struck through in September it is not a Black Friday discount. Third, use a price-history tool — Which? points shoppers to camelcamelcamel for Amazon — and treat a "deal" that matches the summer price as what it is. Our cost-to-own page is the longer argument for why the right wallet at full price often beats the wrong one at 40% off.

The picks below are the site's current top choices — our best-overall wallet, the metal and pop-up benchmarks, the two fashion-brand bifolds, the best full-grain value and the best budget slim — one from each class discussed above, so you have a live benchmark for each when the sales start.

Pros

  • Slim enough for a front pocket while still folding around cash — the balance most people actually want
  • Environmentally-certified leather and Bellroy's three-year warranty back the price
  • A pull-tab lifts your everyday cards into reach, and an RFID edition exists if you want it

Cons

  • $95 is real money next to the $10–$25 budget wallets that carry the same cards
  • The leather is top-grain, not the full-grain a heritage maker would use at this price

Skip this one if…

you want the thinnest possible profile with no cash — a dedicated cardholder like the Slim Sleeve or a Travelambo card holder disappears in a pocket where a bifold still has a spine.

Pros

  • A genuinely slim, near-indestructible RFID cage that holds one to twelve cards
  • Swap between an elastic cash strap and a metal money clip depending on the day
  • The default answer for anyone who's decided leather isn't for them

Cons

  • It's metal — no patina, no warmth, and cards can rub without a leather liner
  • Premium price for a card-only carry, with cash only on the outside

you want a wallet that ages and softens. That's the whole case for leather — a Bellroy or a full-grain cardholder does what metal can't. We include the Ridge because it's the honest alternative, not because it's leather.

Pros

  • Up to fourteen cards in the quick-access slot with expandable storage behind it — the biggest metal carry on this site
  • Machined from 100% recycled 6063 T5 aluminum with no plastic, and the full metal body shields RFID as a Faraday cage rather than needing a liner
  • Works with Ekster's solar tracker card and Apple Find My, so it can be a findable wallet

Cons

  • It isn't a leather wallet — no patina, no warmth, and that is the whole reason this site exists
  • The tracker card and Find My support are sold separately, not features in the box

Pros

What we will and will not post here

When Black Friday deals go live we will list, for each wallet we rank: the sale price we verified, the date and time we verified it, the price we had on record before the sale, and the brand's own stated discount if it published one. We will link every pick through the same tracked Amazon link the rest of the site uses, and we will say so — the #ad disclosure at the top of this page applies to every deal on it.

We will not post a discount percentage we calculated from a strike-through list price, a deal we did not see ourselves, a "price prediction", or a deal on a wallet we do not rank. If a brand runs a sale that does not include the wallet we recommend, we will say that rather than steer you to the one on sale. And when a deal expires, it comes off the board rather than lingering as a stale number — the same rule that removes a live price from this site the moment our data is more than 48 hours old.

If you are shopping for someone else, the gift guides sort every wallet we rank by recipient and budget — under $50, under $100, for dad, for her and for the EDC person — with the one thing to check about the recipient before you buy each one.

How we picked

We do not run a testing lab

The wallets on this page are the current #1 picks from our category guides plus one representative of each brand class discussed above, scored on published manufacturer specifications against our published rubric. They are here as live price benchmarks, not because any of them is on sale today. The discount history above was compiled by fetching the sources listed at the foot of the page; every percentage is that source's figure for the year stated, and where we found nothing we wrote "data unavailable". We do not forecast prices, and we do not claim to have bought any of these on sale ourselves.

Questions

Frequently asked

When is Black Friday 2026?
Friday, November 27, 2026, with Cyber Monday on November 30. Amazon's 2025 Black Friday Week opened on November 20 and ran through Cyber Monday, December 1, so expect the 2026 window to be closer to two weeks than one day. Amazon has not published its 2026 dates as of our last check; we will update this page when it does.
Do leather wallets go on sale for Black Friday?
Some do, and the pattern is by brand class rather than by wallet. In 2025 the metal and pop-up brands (Ridge, Ekster) ran the deepest documented discounts; design-led leather brands (Bellroy, Nomad) ran real but modest ones, around 20 to 25 percent on the wallets themselves, bought direct; mainstream brands like Fossil discounted select styles; and for small US makers and budget Amazon-native wallets we found no published sale history at all.
Is it cheaper to buy a wallet on Amazon or direct from the brand on Black Friday?
It depends on the brand and the day, and we would rather show you than guess. The documented 2025 sales for Bellroy, Ekster, Nomad and Fossil were on the brands' own sites; Ridge's reached Amazon too. Every pick on this page carries a live Amazon price so you can compare the marketplace number against a brand's stated sale on the day.
Will you post actual deals here?
Yes — when they go live in November, with the verified price, the date we verified it and the pre-sale price we had on record. Nothing is posted until we have seen it, and expired deals come off the board rather than lingering.
