If one brand defined the modern slim-wallet era, it is Bellroy. The Australian maker took the bulky bifold, engineered the bulk out of it, wrapped it in environmentally-certified leather, and put a warranty behind it — and in doing so set the template that most of the wallets on this site are now measured against. If you asked us to hand one wallet to someone who just wants a good one and does not want to think about it, it would probably be a Bellroy.

What Bellroy does well

Three things.
